Rex L. Rey Monday, July 22, 1968 - Saturday, June 10, 2017

Rex Limjoco Rey, 48, of Pittsburg, California, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 while biking in Mount Diablo. Rex was born in the Philippines on July 22, 1968. He graduated and received an Associate Degree from Devry University. Rex was married to Brenda Rey on March 15, 1991; they were married for 26 years. Rex worked for BART since 1999. He enjoyed biking, watching TV and movies, and hanging out with his family. He was also actively involved in many cycling events. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 8pm on June 15, 2017 at Hull’s Walnut Creek Chapel. The funeral service will be held from 10am to 11am on June 16, 2017 at Hull’s Walnut Creek Chapel. Flowers may be given to Hull’s Walnut Creek Chapel and any donations may be given to Brenda Rey. The family of Rex Limjoco Rey wishes to thank everyone who contributed to the service.

My sincerest condolences to Rex family.  I met him biking.  I was new to biking and he had nothing but words of encouragment.  He was an awesome guy, happy and fun to ride with.  I followed him on Strava and was always happy to see his biking adventures.  The trails will never be the same without Rex

Condolences to the Rex family , he was a good guy, kind and very likable person , We worked together at BART we would talk about work and his hobby of cycling . He will be missed here at BART (Trouble Desk).
