Madeline, 78, a retired business owner, died May 31, 2017 in Walnut Creek, CA. Madeline is a native of Oakland & lived in Monterey & San Ramon forty-plus years prior to moving to Rossmoor five years ago. She is a graduate of Holy Names High School in Oakland. She is survived by her three daughters: Terri Donner (Paul Donner) of San Ramon, Michelle Deiro (Sal Costilla) of Alameda, & Stacy Horton (Mike Horton) of Encinitas, & son Paul Deiro (Melissa Deiro) of Carmichael & seven grandchildren: Danielle Justin, Matt & Heather Donner, Joey & Ty Hickling, & Sofia & Dante Deiro. Madeline's dedication to her faith & family never wavered & she enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a lover of golf, gambling, playing games, & being with friends & family. She was always on the go & loved spending time socializing & having fun. She had countless deep-rooted friendships, many that go back to elementary school. She was the glue that connected everyone together. Her compassion, empathy, & commitment towards those she held dear is evident through her long-lasting friendships and deep relationships with family. We will miss her dearly. Rosary Vigil will be held on Mon., June 19th at 6:00pm at Hull's Walnut Creek Chapel, 1139 Saranap Ave., Walnut Creek. Memorial service & Celebration of Life will be held on June 20th at 11:00am at St. Anne's Church, 1600 Rossmoor Pkwy, Walnut Creek, with a reception to follow.
